Intro to Cupping – Jessy Appel        Completed                             7 CE hours

Sun. Sept. 29, 2024 (9 a.m. -5 p.m.) $200 for the class only ($265 with 2 cup sets)

This class will review multiple forms of cupping massage. We will use multiple types of massage cups. There will be lecture and hands on time for this class. Previous massage experience is required. 

 

Trigger Point Therapy – Megan S.     Completed                            8 CE hours

This is a hands on class with limited lecture. We will learn what trigger points are, ways they form, and how they can radiate and affect other areas of the body. We will treat trigger points with a variety of techniques in different areas of the body. This class will cover major muscles and their T. P.’s but you’ll learn how you could work any T. P. in any muscle.

 

MFR: The Neck – Megan S                   Completed                          6 CE hours

This class focuses on Massage & Myofacial Release techniques for the Neck. Students will learn about the anatomy of the neck and techniques to offer relief for common complaints in this area. Students will learn techniques to work all sides of the neck and different ways to address neck pain/disfunction. 

 

Intro to Thai Massage – Ryan Powers   Rescheduled TBD         12 CE hours

This class will explore an introduction to Thai Massage. Thai Massage combines compression, acupressure, and passive stretching along with it’s Ayrurvedic principals. It utilizes the bodyworkers hands, elbows, feet, and knees. In traditional Thai Massage clients lay on a mat on the floor, however some techniques can be modified for the a client on the table. Please be sure to wear comfortable stretchy clothes.

 

Hot Stone Massage – Blanche Haley                                            8 CE hours

Sun. Dec. 8, 2024 (9 a.m. – 6 p.m.) $210.00 

This extremely relaxing and renewing treatment is perfect for the colder weather months. The class will include techniques to combine therapeutic and energetic aspects of working with various stones and layouts.

 

Stretch out! – Jessy Appel                                                             8 CE hours

Sat. Jan. 11, 2025 (9 a.m. – 6 p.m.) $220.00 

This class will teach participants about stretching your clients. We will review stretches for the shoulder/arms, hip/low back, and head/neck. A 30-minute stretch routine will also be outlined and can be added to a massage session as an up-sell to a 90-minute session for clients.

 

Introduction to Cranial Sacral Therapy – Gail Cloud             12 CE hours

Sat. Jan. 18, 2025 (9 a.m. – 4 p.m.) and Sun. Jan. 19, 2025 (9 a.m. – 4 p.m.) $300.00

An introduction to this light touch therapy that brings therapeutic work to the nervous system level for deep relaxation and release of stress and trauma.

 

Reflexology – Jessica Appel                                                        8 CE hours

This class will teach techniques, a basic routine, and how to offer this modality as a stand-alone service or add it to another session. This class will focus on reflexology of the feet.
